First Focus Group: Be Safe, Play Hard "Datopia"

1. Functional Project Description

The Functional Project Description describes the main activities that should be done by the project. This includes

• The things that the project should build or produce (e.g., develop software).
• The services the project should provide or sell.
• What output this creates and how this creates impact.
• What are the implementation phases of the project? What could be a possible MVP? Does this project require substantial research before implementation?

2. Feasibility Evaluation

The Feasibility Evaluation describes how the project works technically and provides considerations on regulatory constraints that might restrict or endanger the action proposed.

a)  Technical Viability Review

The Focus Group was asked to address points here where the technical feasibility is not obvious. In this section, the group should provide arguments and references, why they think their approach is feasible. In case there are open points, these should be addressed by them and they should provide some idea of how this gap of knowledge can be closed.

b)  Legal Viability Review

The Focus Group was asked to address points here where the regulatory feasibility is not obvious. A complete list of regulatory issues was not required, but they should focus on points where there might be doubts that regulatory compliance is possible. For example, standard questions of incorporation sould not be addressed, but if the Focus Group sees difficult issues for example regarding data protection regulation or financial regulation, they should be mentioned here.
